Fuel Log, Summary

March 31st 2003 - overcast, sunny spells, warm

This 1994 / 1995 Mustang had been planted in a garden centre on the outskirts of Ocala.

This is Lake Okeechobee, one of the largest lakes in the world ....

.... but it is so shallow that a large number of trees and grasses have taken root in the lake.

An egret on the shores of the lake.

Another egret in the John Stretch Park.

From here we drove on to the Airport Suite Inn in Miami (373 miles, 08:30 - 17:00, ca. US $ 44)

April 1st 2003 - sunny, warm

We drove from Miami up to Pompano Beach (to source some spare parts for our SVT Cobra Mustang from Steeda), and on the way back in northern Miami, we came across a garage that had a number of unusual vehicles for hire, including this lorry ....

.... to tow this boat.

They also had this superb catamaran ....

.... with unusual graphics.

How about this Shelby SP360 supercharged V8 van for the day ?

They also had stretched Hummers, in white ....

.... and silver ....

.... and a stretched Ford van.

But my favourite was the Mustang 2+2+2.

A stretched Mustang with all the interior trimmings, such as a minibar, champagne glasses and video system.

There was also another chrome yellow Mustang GT in their car park.

When we got back into Miami, we moved from the Airport Suite Inn to the Days Inn (93 miles, 09:30 - 17:00, ca. US $ 44)
